(So my SW knowledge is, uh, it needs work we'll go with that? So I just winged about, all of this, basically. Dunno if it's cringe, wrong, whatever, but here it is.)

Elisa wasn't exactly the biggest fan of her home planet, not to say it was a bad one really. It was civilized, quite so, with towering structures showing the height of her home's power and wealth. The educational system was ever-expanding, knowledge from all over and verified of course, being put in daily to ensure the future generations a good foundation. It was, all in all, a very well-rounded society with a lacking of crime, full of money, power, and knowledge. For the largest portion of her life she loved it, she found all she learned to be of some interest, and more day to day aspects were fine as they were.

Though the planet eventually became a prison, to her, at least. The wide expanse of space, infinite in its distance, was something she quite wanted to see more of. Or at the least a different planet. That was a thought she had around fourteen, a thought that lingered, a thought that grew with age due to a family that wanted her to stay put- To grow up here and be happy, for her family was quite content in the comfort of this world. Elisa, was not. It was two years later in her life that she felt the desire to move, to just do anything other than continue away like a cog in a machine, but couldn't yet again. The anger that had been lightly poking away at her, making the suffocation so much more unbearable for the, then, immature teen- Helped her learn something. She threw one of her books at the wall, a stupid action, but it got some of the annoyance for the moment.

And then she wanted the book back, and just saw it laying there on the floor. A hand reached, going to move and grab it, before the damn thing in her boil of bubbling, slow to simmer aggravation just flew at her as far as she was concerned. She didn't mean to bring it over like that, she had never even thought to see if she could do such a feat. When the hard leather of the cover promptly smacked her in the forehead she figured out pretty soon though she could.

The little trick, as she would downplay it then, she kept secret. She knew there was plenty of potential in the ability, but getting away from the world she was on now would be a requirement before any form of career path would be made from it. So, more time passed, and the girl that was already inclined to more cold, rude, generally uncaring thoughts of her own family, let alone the planet she started to slowly view as a chain around her ankle, bid her time. Eventually she was off the planet, and travelling about.
