Playable Character Types:
1. Humans
2. Augmented humans
3. Transhumans (Basically, a human totally maxed out on internal replacement. Still has a biological brain, with potential mods.)
4. Semi-synthetic humans (Running a manufactured, synthetic brain, in a lab-grown human body.)
5. Synthetic humans (Totally manufactured human, with no biological parts, indistinguishable from a natural human, usually.)
6. Androids (Very noticeably non-human, with a manufactured brain, or CPU running a SoulOS)
7. Artificial Intelligence running on an appliance.
8. Artificial intelligence running on a person's Neural Stack.
9. Artificial intelligence running standalone inside the SprawlNET.
10. Exotics. Synth-Exotic, or Bio-Exotic, depending on material and implementation.
Doesn't need an application:
1. A fully human character.
2. A fully human character, with prosthesis-grade augmentations. We don't use items to represent these, because they don't do anything, or support anything.
3. A fully human character that works a job for a corp. (Note: this means you're an EMPLOY, not a Corpo, a Corpo being something like a fixer/exec for a Corp.)
4. Artificial Intelligence running on an appliance.
5. Normal, semi-synthetic characters with no extended abilities past human abilities.
6. Normal, fully synthetic characters with no extended abilities past human abilities.
Needs an application:
1. Semi-synthetic characters, with extended abilities.
2. Synthetic characters, with extended abilities.
3. Any type of character with augmentations over prosthesis-grade.
4. Any type of character that owns a business, of some sort.
5. Any type of character starting with more than what you're able to pick, at character creation.
6. Any type of character starting with more than 100 Tri.
7. Characters being continued from Chromed Out: 2085.
8. Characters being transferred from New Seattle, Elysia, 2118, 2119, 21xx, or Double Action, but only if you're bringing stuff you had.
9. Transhumans.
10. Artificial Intelligence running on a person's Arch (Think Cortana.)
11. Artificial Intelligence running standalone inside the net (Think SHODAN.)
12. Exotics: Synthetic and Biological. (Just give me a DM on Discord, shinjuku#1984)
