The Difference between Augmentations and Replacements

In Chromed Out 2, what is known elsewhere as "Augs," is now known as "WetWare."
The reason for this, is because WetWare comes in two different "types."
Augmentations, and Replacements. This document outlines the difference.
For the purpose of this table, "Biological" means an unmodified body part.

Note: Manufactured Synthetics MUST use Replacements, only!
AUGMENTATIONSREPLACEMENTS
Modifications to your existing, biological body part.A complete replacement of your body part.
You cannot skip "grades." (You must go from D to C to B, etc.)You can skip grades, once you have one installed.
You can put on/take off ChipWare as you please.Any ChipWare installed is permanent.
You cannot take it off, as you please.You can take it off, as you please.
You can have a BIOLOGICAL HAND, on an augmented arm/BIOLOGICAL FOOT on an augmented leg.You cannot have a BIOLOGICAL HAND, on a Replaced arm/BIOLOGICAL FOOT, on a replaced leg.
