Character Name: Arashk
Backstory: Arashk came from a rather average, tribal Dracon community, secluded within the swamps far away. He however, was far from being an average tribesman. Son of the local leader, Arashk was next in line to rule, and thus he was lucky to enjoy the many privileges it brought. Supposedly destined and raised for greatness, he lived in relative luxury and had been taught all he needed in order to become a shaman. Amongst other things, notably it also included skills regarding preparations and use of primitive and crude 'alchemy' for things such as remedies and poisons, and how to wield and use some elemental magic, primarily nature-based. They haven't shied away even from dabbling in the controversial arts of dark magic however, whose knowledge has been secretively kept and passed on through a chosen few within the tribe.
But, soon it would turn out that Arashk's journey would not be as easy and simple as it may seem. His father had suddenly fallen ill and passed away. An opportunity which has been exploited by his brother, Arashk's uncle, to usurp the leadership for himself, for he harboured jealousy of the young Dracon and disagreed with the notion that he should be the one to lead.
To secure his position, Arashk has also been cast out of the tribe. He found himself wondering the unfamiliar world, with very little other than his desire for revenge. That is, untill he learnt of the town of Spruceton and its fabled abundance of Rose Kaineite. Perhaps there, he would find what's needed to give him the edge and retake what's unrightfully been taken from him... Or at perhaps, at least a new calling.
What do you want for your character:
-Access to/IC knowledge of rudimentary alchemy
-Access to and appropriate proficiency in magic, elemental and dark
-A crude, tribal-themed staff
-A dagger
-A simple yet decorative attire, made mainly from leathers and hides
Do you have any specific plans for them?: I am hoping to portray an odd and exotic of a character, that would be somewhat eerie without the need to be overly cliché, edgy nor overpowered, as often is the case; I'd mainly like to focus on the aspect of a sheltered individual thrown into a completely new, strange world, where they don't know much of its customs, cultures nor people.
