The Ukiyo City WetWare Catalog, Summer 2087 Edition

WetWare is the term used to describe what you normally know as augments, as in the universe of Shibuya Meltdown, you not only have augments, but you have replacements, as well. There are over 850 different types of base, un-customized WetWare, in Shibuya Meltdown. Realistically, the possibilities for customization are totally limitless. Not only can you have an engineer customize the base part itself, but you can also purchase ChipWare and HardWare and physically slot it to the part with a right-click, and you can even have the ChipWare or HardWare customized by an engineer.

GLOSSARY

Augmentation:
A modification to your existing body parts. Augmentations can have ChipWare added to them at will, by a technician, and removed at will. You must progress through every Grade, starting at D, then C, then B, etc, to obtain the top grade, which is S1. If you skip grades, you run the risk of serious physical rejection.

Replacement: The entire body part is removed, and replaced. Once ChipWare is installed to a replacement, it cannot be removed. However, you can detach a replacement from your body, and swap it with another, at will. You can skip grades, with replacements.

BAML: Body Autonomous Modification License. Shows the authorities that you're licensed to modify your body in any way past a medical prosthesis.
MT: Medical/Technical license.
SEC: Security License. A license to detain, kill if needed.
COM: Combat. A license to kill.

Class: The permissible class of your WetWare. Higher classes require 'addendums' to your BAML, which are add-ons. For example, Class 2 WetWare requires a BAML, plus a C2A, a Class-2 Addendum.

Series: The general purpose of the WetWare. These modify the base stat formula, which is a series of buffs and debuffs. These are amplified as you go up in grade. For example, Athletic-series WetWare effects different stats, than a Heavy Industry-series piece of WetWare.

Grade: The general progression of a series of WetWare. Progresses as: D, C, B, A, S, S1. What you might know as a "tier." Controls the amplitude of it's buffs/debuffs, and general durability/cost.

WetWare BodyPoint: The slot on your body which can be modified with WetWare. The currently existing BodyPoints are:
Neural Stack
Head
Left Eye / Right Eye
Left Arm / Right Arm
Left Hand / Right Hand
Torso
Left Leg / Right Leg
Left Foot / Right Foot

The Neural Stack, Torso, and Head BodyPoints only take one type of item, which you then load the mods into.

The Neural Stack handles mods to your brain. You can get different versions of a Neural Stack, which allows for a higher capacity of mods to be installed that modify how your brain works.

Your Head takes a "Skull Array." This works just like the Neural Stack, except it's anything to do with your head, except for eyes/brain.

Your Torso takes a "Body Array." This works just likes the Neural Stack, except it's anything to do with your torso/body.

The Neural Stack, Skull Array, and Body Array come in varying versions, the higher the version, the higher capacity for mods that you can have installed.

The Plug is what the Arch was, in 2085. It is the piece of tech that directly interfaces with your brain. In lore, pretty much everyone has these, if they've spent time in a SprawlState, like Cascadia or Japan.

WetWare is further modifiable with ChipWare/HardWare, you drag and drop it onto the part, and it modifies your stats/skills, or gives you new hardware mods that you can use for different abilities.

Example of full naming convention of a piece of WetWare: D-Grade Athletic-Series Right Arm Augmentation / D-Grade Athletic-Series Right Arm Replacement.

CATALOG

Keep in mind, these will be updated, as time goes on. As of APR 4 2020, this outlines the basics of what will be available.
Each listed WetWare in this catalog is applicable to ANY of the BodyPoints.

This only goes over one, single, theoretical BodyPoint. Because of the sheer size of the total spreadsheet which accounts for roughly 850 individual items, the only thing shown here is a single BodyPoint!!

The base parts come with some stat buffs/debuffs themselves, but keep in mind that you can have your part customized in any way you want - you can have the item itself customized, and then you can have ChipWare and HardWare installed as you please, for further customization/tweaking. If you have the skills or the money, you can have your body's installed parts customized HOWEVER you want. You can even have the ChipWare/HardWare mods customized HOWEVER you want, given you have the skills or money. When we say the possibilities are totally limitless, we completely mean that. This is all able to be done in-game.

Some clarifications:

These tables represent every possible WetWare mod for any part of your modifiable body (BodyPoints).

So, this is not a total listing of all possible WetWare - this is a list of all the WetWare that you could put, on whatever part of your body.

So, all of these entries apply to, say, your Left Eye, your Right Hand, your Left Leg, your Right Arm - wherever. This is a list of what can go to the body-part that you're thinking of.
