ChipWare

ChipWare comes in all shapes and sizes - but is normally, a small chip, that must be implanted to your CyberWare augmentations, by an Augmentation Doctor.
They do a wide range of things - the possibilities are virtually endless.
Here's a select few.



LimbLinks - LimbLinks are a piece of firmware that come in the form of ChipWare. They can be installed to either the left or right arm, and come in multiple tiers - they're designed to interface with all modern weaponry, and tools, in order to provide greater stability, as well as recoil control. Boasts tiers 1-5, and is purchased separately per arm.

Capacitor Optimization - ChipWare that contains various pieces of code that are designed to increased the efficiency of the way the physical logic board in your leg CyberWare functions - popular with athletes. Comes in one single tier, currently, for each leg separately.

Responsive Modulation System - ChipWare that has been designed for the Arch. This increases your effectiveness in terms of reaction time, agility, speed, and accuracy - but does take quite a toll on the brain. Comes in numerous tiers, with quite a price difference, each time. Primarily usd by athletes, as well as security professionals, CSEC agents, and Solos all over the Sprawl. Comes in tiers 1-3.

Neural Interface - ChipWare made for the Arch. The basic piece of ChipWare that you'll want to have, to increase your system's ability to even support higher-end tiers of CyberWare augmentation. Helps optimize the interface connections between your brain, body, and augments. Commonly used. Comes in tiers 1-5.

Biomon - Short for Biomonitor, this useful piece of tech is specifically made for your optics. Helps you not only view your own medical status, on a Heads-Up Display projected to your cornea - but also those of others, given that you're able to jack into their Arch. useful for TRAUMA agents, and PMRS personnel. Comes as a single tier, single item purchase.

Sensory Filter - A piece of ChipWare for the brain, that helps with those who are particularly sensitive to the often-time overbearing lights, sounds, and action, of the Sprawl around them. Comes as a single-tier, single purchase.

SysRAT - A unique piece of ChipWare thay stands for System Remote Access Tool. This is a piece of ChipWare that can have a "QuickProg" mounted to it. A QuickProg is a piece of data that delivers a payload, or an exploit, to a target. You're able to do things like disrupt the use of their arms, or legs, or eyes, and various other nefarious things. Comes in tiers 1-5, single purchase.
